Front grille with camera

Front grille with camera
I know this is probably a stupid question, but I have a 16 2lt stingray, and I am looking to change the front grille. I have the camera's on my grille now. Can I buy any new grille and use the camera's I already have, or does the new grille have to have the camera's?

I don't believe you can swap them, easily anyways. (which I don't like , since a camera going bad means replacement grill and both cameras)
You are talking about swapping to a Z06 grille correct?
The new Grilles come with cameras pre-installed and if you buy a non-camera grille it will not have the holes for them to mount.

The ZO6 grille with cameras is several hundred dollars more expensive than without - I know, I made the change myself.
You cannot take your cameras out of your standard grille and put them into a non camera grille as far as I know.

I had a base Stingray 2016 with the 2LT package.
It had the base grille with cameras.
I put a ZO6 grille in with cameras.
I know the cost difference was about $250 over a non camera ZO6.

Darn it. I was hoping that wasnt the answer. Why do they make it so hard, and expensive lol. I guess next question, anyone have a good site or place to get the Z06 grille at a decent price

Odd that now the GM catalog is showing you can buy replacement cameras separately. I don't believe that was the case a few years ago when they first came with the cameras. Maybe they stopped plastic welding the brackets on???
Someone that has had it off on a 2017/18 would have to verify that, as I have no clue.
The cameras on the stingray are a different part # , I noticed as well so....
