Define Certified pre owned?

Seriously, depending on manufacturer, they certify or extend the factory warranty.

You do get the 6/100 powertrain warranty (from new car in-service date), but you don't necessarily get an extra year of B2B. It's 12 months from date of your purchase of the CPO car.
If your CPO has 2 yrs of original B2B warranty left, that's of no benefit. However, if you buy the CPO on the day the original B2B expires or if it's already expired, you do get a full 12 months or 12K miles (whichever comes first) of B2B.
EDIT: I don't want to delete this for historical accuracy, but I was wrong about the above. See posts starting at #14 below.

So my in service mileage was 80 miles. This is when all warranty stuff starts. My in service date was April 6, 2016, also when all warranty starts.
3/36 bumper to bumper ends 4/6/2019, at 36,080 miles. The second highlighted line in the pic. Easy to follow that one.
The free two year scheduled maintenance (free oil changes) ends 4/6/18, at 24,080 miles. The two year maintenance has a 12,000 mile per year inclusion. So two years or 24,000 miles for your free oil changes. This is the first highlighted line in the pic.
Now the complicated part, how the CPO stuff works into that.
The third highlighted line shows the added two year maintenance from the CPO add-on.
Standard CBG CPO Maint plan ends 8/31/2018, two years after I bought the car. (I actually picked the car up September 12, but did all the work prior to picking up, but I didn't care enough to get the dates changed) Anyway, so CPO Maint plan ends two years after purchase, and 24,000 miles after purchase. Unlike the BTB warranty that is added on, this runs concurrent with the existing maint plan. So you can see that all I get out of the CPO maint plan is four more months and 800 miles on top of the free two year included plan. I think this equates to 2 more free oil changes really, and maybe not even that if you are still under the original two years maint plan. Since my car had very low miles, this part did not help me much, but if you have more miles, it may extend the free oil changes enough to actually use them.
The last highlighted line is the CPO Added BTB warranty. I verified with Chevrolet that everything in standard BTB warranty is covered under the added CPO warranty. So this line shows the CPO BTB added warranty expires at 48,080 miles and 4/6/2020. I get an extra year and 12,000 miles added to the original in service date and mileage.
So, short story, yes, you get one year and 12k miles added on top of the BTB warranty. You do get extra free oil changes, but if the car is still within the original free oil changes, you don't really get much out of that part.
All of this is in the computers at any GM dealer that can run the VIN.

I have the same piece of paper you published above in my records somewhere, but haven't looked at it in a long time, and haven't needed any warranty work.

CPO cars can be great finds! Just research them carefully and you can really make out well!
