Getting fuel
Not sure if you should pump gas with the car in this mode.

There is also a anti-siphon grid in the fuel inlet neck which tends to also cause additional restriction...
Not sure why they even need it really. The grid is pretty easy to knock out if someone was really determined to steal fuel....

I'm specifically referring to the mousetrap style detents on the dispensing handle.
Where I am, and most I've seen in the last 20 years or so, have 3 detents.
For sake of this thread I'll call them "slow," "medium," and "fast."
Does it kick off early (before "full") less often in medium or slow than it does in fast?
Would you expect it to take longer to fill in medium or slow than turning on the Accessory feature with the start button?
As I understand it, holding the start button engaged for 10-15 seconds, without pressing the brake, activates the "accessory" feature; like a keyed ignition switch would have.
My 2014 stopped ~20%of the time. My Grand Sport now about the same.
When it happens I hold the handle 90 degrees CCW and can press for full flow. Some folks place it upside down and leave it. However several posted and said it did’t shut off whendoing that!
My method shuts off fine. I’ll hold the handle and not take the chance!

Bottom line - it shouldn't happen at all and it happens much more with this car than any other car I've ever gassed up.
The biggest problem was that it was COSTCO and they have the best price for gas in our area.
