if I took a front lip off a c7 stingray, would it fit on a grand sport or z06?

Along those same lines...do they all use the same mounting points? (i.e. Remove an original poverty splitter on a GS in favor of a stage two, does the OEM stage two use the same holes already in the car?

awaiting the piece, arriving this week....my only concern is that I'll have to be a tad more careful in the usual situations to avoid scraping......

My '14 Stingray which I bought used came with the Z06 or GS one, I wonder if the stock one is less likely to be scraped.

When working with aero consider this info. Front center deflector delete with the larger (CFV) splitters. If its just the smaller "poverty splitter" the center deflector remains. Graphic is from GM #16-NA-330 TSB. Good luck and let us know the outcome.

I would stay with Stage 1 splitter if you are going to be driving on the street.. especially for daily use.

Is that the one that comes stock on the Stingray?

Having scraped the bottom edge of the carbon fiber splitter several times that I added to my 2014 C7 I was concerned about the Stage 2 aero Splitter I ordered with my Grand Sport.

So I invested in a Scrape Armor protector. About a month after the install I got caught in a situation where I had to leave a steep driveway. Had pulled in on an angle and believe I only scrapped the side air dams. However could not back out into traffic! Glad I had added the "protector!"

Below are pics installed and after scrapping. No damage to the splitter! This is a PDF of the simple install. http://netwelding.com/Splitter_Protectors.pdf

Pricey, but worth it IMO!

"Splitter Protector" As Installed

Scraped, but No Damage to Splitter

Stingrays don’t come with a splitter, it has to be ordered.

I believe that mine could be the stage 2 that follows very nicely the pattern of the spoiler but it keeps scrapping everywhere. Which splitter do you think would be a better replacement for street driving?

This is the splitter that came on my car, beautiful looking one, but get scratched everywhere. I don't have any idea which type is mine. Probably once that gets damaged I would replace it for the Weapon X or the RPI which seem that are higher from the ground up, or maybe no splitter at all.

From pic no Stage 2 Winglets on Splitter and no Stage 2 Spoiler Extensions. But looks like full length Side Skirts that could be Stage 2. Possibly aftermarket Splitter and Side Skirts?

IMO, only safe Splitter is NONE! Next is Poverty Splitter standard on Grand Sport and some others. Mainly because it's cheap to replace!

Although with my Stage 2 Carbon Fiber Splitter to some degree I can control where my car goes and avoid steep driveways I have less control of the many 18 wheeler tire treads on the Interstate! Hit one of those and it will destroy whatever!
