There is an XPEL pattern with cutouts for the emblems, but that will create visible edges that collect dirt.
My custom installer removed all the emblems, and wrapped all edges and under where the emblems are located. I then purchased new emblems to go over the top of the XPEL.

My installer gave me two options when he did the car. He could either cut around the emblems (Not advised due to the visible line you'll end up with) or remove the emblems and reapply after the Xpel. He made a template to make sure the were put back in the same place.

I do not want to damage the xpel.
TIA

I did not want to take off my badges and left them just the way they were when my Xpel guy installed the film because I wanted to keep my C7 Z06 completely factory stock!

I prefer and had mine done with the badges removed and then replaced so there was no edges.
9t6t7, if you had XPel put on and now want to remove your badges, I'd take it back to the person that did your XPel install, they may just do it for you. Worst case I would discuss it with them. I imagine it could be possible to damage things, but using dental floss it may be a pretty simple removal. Just would worry a little bit about glue residue and how to get that off safely (probably alcohol).

Simplest... just get rid of the dopey emblems altogether.

Mine have the cut outs. You have to get right up to the emblem to notice it. Car color might make a difference.

XPEL (even the kit) has both cutouts and no cutouts for the side emblems. Most installers remove them and replace them on (the placement can be inconsistent from the factory).
For the front and rear emblems you have to ask to have them not be cutouts. The flags as cutouts don't bother me since the stock panel already has a depression.

Yes, we have the patterns in the XPEL DAP software with and without the emblems. For the cleanest install possible, it's recommended to remove the side emblems and even the flag emblem on the front bumper.
Good question. After speaking with one of our lead Corporate Installers, their recommended process is:
Use 17lb fishing line and a good amount of lubrication. They use a soap and water mixture (johnson & johnson baby shampoo mixed with water) and they spray that under the emblem while using the fishing line to loosen the adhesive. Be sure to pull towards the emblem to avoid damage to the film/paint.
Hope this info helps, let us know if we can answer any other questions.
