Default Vettestripes

I’m thinking about putting stripes on my C7. Has anybody bought from vettestripes.com? How’s the quality and was it easy to install.

Mike at Vettestripes put these on my C7. He's close by and installed them while I watched, but if you follow his instructions it should be no problem. He was meticulous in surface prep and laying them out, and he's just as careful in the computerized design and cutting. He uses several brands of top quality vinyl. The stinger requires taking out the hood vent but that's not difficult either. Just do what he says and it should be fun.

Mike at Vettestripes is great. I have used them on my 2015 Z51 and my 2017 Z06. Great customer service and quick shipping. I applied both myself. It's not hard if you follow the directions.

Default Vettestripes

Your Vettestripes look great. I like the way that the red pin stripes on the sides of the stinger tie in with the red fender hashes. I couldn't find that particular stinger on the Vettestripes website. What name or part number goes with that stinger?
Thanks.

Stripes are the only thing I wish I had added to mine. It's too late now because the entire front end has been wrapped.

There’s no specific part number. I told Mike what I had in mind and he cut the red pin stripes to add to the sides of the stinger. He had a unique way of laying them out and insuring that they lined up exactly correct.

My Wife wanted stripes on her car. She picked them out and I bought them from Mike. He was really easy to work with and I highly recommend him.

Before. The car is really YELLOW!!

After. I like the Carbon Flash and Graphite accent stripe Mike did for us.

I had thought the hash marks and the stripes might be too much but I ended up really thinking they are cool so all in all very satisfied with the end result.

Default vette stripes

I may go against the grain here We have had numerous cars here in our club with Vette strips material. All turned out great. Having said that we all used professional installers.
When you see what they have to do for example getting the strips over a rear spoiler you would go there is no way I am going to do that myself.
i suppose some of the basic hood strips would be ok.
Also is suggest you look at the videos on Youtube before you decide to do it.
Here is a picture of several done one day in my garage.

My XPEL guy prefers the stripes on top of the xpel. His story is that if you put the xpel on top of the stripes moisture can get in there.
Having said that three cars with xpel on top no problem so far. you just have the go over the area where the stripes are and press down with a soft cloth and your finger.
I had to do the xpel on top as the last car had factory stripes. Vette stripes has the very similar stripes to the factory. The factory ones are on my Avitar.
My neighbor has the same color combo only a coupe with the vette strips and it looks great
