Default Need Help Changing Plugs

I have 43k on the speedo and decided to change plugs and wires. Anyway, I changed out the driver's side plugs but am having trouble with the passenger side. I'm wondering if there is a way to remove the huge fusebox. There are 2 handles that will remove the top half but my life would be much easier if I could get this space robbing plastic box totally out of my way. Is this possible or will I have to just deal with it? The fuse box really makes it tough to get my hands in there to work

Well...I got a bug up you know what to maintenance on the car. It all started when my rear differential broke down and the oil that came out was black and looked dirty. The dealer had the car for a week and put a brand new one in.

Anyway, I know the plugs are good for 100k but the price of plugs and wires are so small that it seemed like a good thing to do. I just wished it was more fun to work under the hood.

I also changed my tranny 7M fluid to Redline. The oil that came out looked mildly dirty but not too bad. The new synthetic fluid seems to be a great idea since the car does shift smoother. I wasn't expecting this but it was a nice surprise.

Today, I removed and cleaned the throttle body ( it was pretty dirty), and my aftermarket air filter, I attempted to flush the radiator but you really need a machine to do this properly. However, I was able to drain about 1.5 gallons and put in fresh fluid. I found a shop that will do it for 109.00 which is better than the dealer. I'll wait for the summer to do this. Next, I will be changing the brake pads to ceramic to get rid of the wheel dust. The guys who did the tranny drain and fill only want 80.00 to flush out and replace the brake fluid. The rotors are good so I will scuff them up and install new pads. It is so simple to change out pads that anyone could do it. It literally is a 10 minute job per wheel once you get the tire off. I called one local shop who wanted 200.00 to drain and re-fill the tranny. Yikes. I told him that the price was crazy. I would love to use my local dealer but I'm not paying there crazy prices. It takes maybe 30 minutes to drain and re-fill the tranny yet they want 250.00 and 140.00 for an oil change.

Are the OEM plugs iridium? And if so, both on the ground and electrode? If the answer is yes, they'll probably last even longer than 100k before needing replacement.

Changing plugs..... Richard, my Vette tech for the past 27 years of driving Corvettes, tells me when I need such things.

Richard has "nursed" me through more than 700,000 miles in Corvettes... thus far my plan has worked and I've never been stranded, car always runs flawlessly, and Mobil 1 oil changes with filter cost me $58.00.

When doing headers last week. instead of pulling fuse box, I pulled the valve cover... made it so much easier. left the coil packs on the cover, pulled with few botls... did job and reinstalled gasket is rubber.
