Default Is this a base C7?

I’m trying to find out if this is a base C7, or maybe a Z or GS.

Thank you.

Hard to tell by such dark pictures, but it looks like a C7 Z51 Stingray

The rear brake discs has slots, so unless the brakes were upgraded and the wheels and spoiler were added, then this car is a stingray with the Z51 package.

Spoiler, banjo wheels, upgraded calipers, non wide body. It is a Z51.

If it has slotted brakes and the back ducts are functional (no block plate, it is a Z51.

Slotted rotors make it almost certainly Z51. It would be pretty rare for someone to spend the money to upgrade a base C7 to OEM Z51 brakes. Having the VIN removes all doubt on how a car was originally equipped.

Not true. I have a base 2018 Stingray and those wheels are now the base wheels for all Stingray's. It was one of the changes made for the 2018 MY.

But I agree, it looks like a Z51.

Yes, and the Z51 "appearance package" has been an option since the '16MY. That includes the 19/20 Z51 wheels and rear spoiler.

The owner could have modded the calipers and rotors like I plan on doing with mine so.... No way to tell unless you have a VIN.

I put in the z51 sway bar and have the brake ducting kit ready to go so you can't tell just by looking. Remember a z51 is an options package to the Stingray.

My vote is Z51. The slotted discs is what really weighs in that favor.

I feel like I’ve seen that before. Let me think.....let me think. Ah yes, here it is.

Sho' is monk. All of the '18's come with the 19/20 combo Z51 style wheels.

I thought they discontinued the ZF1 package.

One of my buds did that on his 2014. After one track day he decided he needed them. That being said its not a common thing.
