Default What Deals Are Out There For 2017 C7???

Locally, I've seen 15% off plus $3,000 loyalty cash. They have a Stingray coupe that is exactly what I would want. I would trade in my similarly equipped 2015 Stingray convertible. There may be another $2500 dealer incentive.
Is the Stingray harder for the dealers to move? I'm assuming yes as the GS has thinned the herd of buyers.
What are the screaming deals out there right now?

Unfortunately you will lose your butt on trading in your car. Figure about 10% less than what edmunds says for a trade for an average car. Trade in for a loaded 17 GS is around $55-60k to give you an idea. As you can get brand new ones for below $70, loaded 3LTs. One dealer had a new 17 CE advertised for $65k.

Jeff - check with the forum dealers and see what deals they are offering. Usually they are very hard to beat on the price.

I am seeing lots of insanely good deals on 2017 cars ... BUT ... I guarantee with deals like that these dealers DO NOT want your trade in C7 and will probably low ball you on it. All of those sweetheart deals are primarily only going to work for buyers with no trade in.

Good point. Trade value will be low as all values drop when they blow out new cars at 20% off. Live by the sword, die by the sword.
We'll see what the offer. This dealer is very motivated to sell new and sells many used C7 also.

I've never traded in a car......sell to private party is best.

May take some time.but worth it.

If you are on facebook, post it there.I sold my last 2 cars to people on FB in 10 days or less.Top dollar too!

^^^ This.

Obviously you’ll take a hit on trade-in, but that’s often the case with any car... especially a rear wheel drive sports car in November, but the savings on a new one might ease that pain.

Especially since you live up north. Dealer will say there isn't a market for buying a Vette up north right now. In a way it is true. I considered buying a 17 GS new from a local dealer. It would mostly sit for 4 months in Utah. Four months of making payments and paying insurance. If the car is still around 4 months from now then it should be cheaper than it is now. I will probably just build a 19 the way I want. The car at the local dealer has the stage 2 ground effects package which is something I would not order.

The big thing here is the coupe you are looking at is exactly what you want. It is usually very difficult to find just what you want on a dealer lot. It often has stuff you don’t want or doesn’t have stuff you do want. So you got that going for you. As to selling yourself, most of us don’t want to go thru the hassle of that BS as we wade thru all the cheap F- - - - who want something for nothing etc, and of course the tax savings on a trade you typically lose if you don’t trade ( unless of course you work the trade thru a dealer. Again more hassle. Sounds like way too much work to me).

OP just go on Kerbeck or MacMulkin. Those sites are the ones with the best deals as they are volume sellers. Sell your car privately if you can wait for maximum dollars.

by the time you do find somoene 6 mos to a yr can pass and the cars worth less anyways. Trade it in a few k isnt going to make any difference in the long run. Or on your mo. bill.
