2019 Z06 changes

Supposedly, the ‘19 will have newer electronics, but that’s all the information that has been provided thus far... Possibly an upgraded CAI/tune performance package. There has been some discussion on this recently. Nonetheless, I wouldn’t expect much. The ZR1 is the new king... per the email that I received from Chevrolet today

We will probably find out later this month when the 2019 order guide comes out and the Chevrolet website is updated. It would be nice to see the Z06 get some of the improvements engineered into the ZR1 but I’m not counting on it.

Doubt the Z06 will get any of the ZR1 upgrades. If you watched the video of the Dubai introduction, Tadge was talking about the ZR1 and he made the comparison several times that "x" on the ZR1 is better than/improved over the Z06, so it's pretty clear their "flagship" car has now changed.

The ZR1 needs to be careful with "little brother".
Little brother being lighter and having the same displacement/ same rear rubber.
Just 100 hp to be there in a drag race. 100hp is a pretty easy fix on Little Brother! Lot of aftermarket out now!
So when Little Brother whips big brother at the drag strip.
Which will happen. Z06 with driver mod might be enough in extreme
cases!

for Little brother and The owner will not be laughing. Plenty of Z06 owner's running around with more 750 hp!
