All the talk of the new ZR1, the 2018 and 2019 models, I feel shy posting my new '17! It's my first Vette (only had 3miles!). Z51 M7 in WGG, 1LT, NPP, mag ride, pdr. Had her for 2 months now and already added some tint, license plate LEDs, and a Borla X-pipe. Sad to know I'll be storing for winter soon.
More than posting about my car, I just wanted to say thank you to the forum and its members. For months I lurked learning everything I could before I went to the dealer, and since my purchase I've been able to find answers to so many questions. Such a great community that I had to register to say thank you.
Congrats OP. Any vette (especially a new one!) Is a great Vette. Be happy enjoy. Keeping up with the Jones's is silly. Billions of people on this planet would be so grateful to just ride in or drive one. and you own one!

Welcome to the forum....great-looking car you have there. Enjoy it and don't let all the talk about the latest super-Vettes distract you from fully enjoying your new car. Anybody driving any Corvette is blessed in more ways than one.
That's a great machine you got there! I've had a great experience with my 2015 Z51 MN7 convertible. It has all of the performance that I could ask for.
I'm trading that on Friday for basically the identical car (new 2017) except that it's a coupe. I could have jumped on a more expensive model with equally big discounts but I'm totally satisfied with the Z51.
Just be careful on how hard you push down with your right foot!
Thanks everyone for the wisdom & kind words. Every time I walk out in the garage it makes me smile, and obviously driving it is even better. My birthday present to myself for turning 40
