Default Passenger side door alignment

I have a 2015 Stingray. I noticed a while back when looking at the door to fender alignment from the top down its off by close to 3/16". The gap spacing between the two panels looks good, just the door looks a little counter sunk compared to the fender. The drivers side looks perfect.
I'm looking for advice on how to adjust this or should i take it the dealer before the warrenty expires in April? Maybe i should just take it to a local body shop?
Heres a picture looking from the top down.

Looks like all of the paint is chipping off onto the floor too. Wow, that really is misaligned.

I would recommend taking it to the dealer if there's one you have confidence in.

A lot of dealers do not have a body shop anymore...so you might just find out who they use, and then decide if you want it under warranty or take it there yourself.

RTFM! Owners manual states that is by design. Also read a thread here the reason why it was designed that way was to curtail wind noise in the cabin.

Its normal.

Ive looked at a lot of other C7s that dont have it... i guess they need to bring their C7s in to the dealer to get the panels to misalign...
I'm not referring to the same issue that you are.
