OP, obviously nobody, including myself, understands why you are asking to do what you are contemplating. Having stated that I can tell you the smart financial move is to find a higher mile 14 in the color you want with the options you like. plenty out there.. To "daily drive" a corvette, it would be silly to buy a low mile pristine example just to leave in parking lots and not worry about it getting dinged up etc etc.
Me (not that you asked but we're all friends here right?), I would sell the C6 and use that $$$$$ towards a used C7, daily drive it and see if you like that car enough to focus on a time capsule C7 GS down the road which blows away the C6 in every department. I came from an 08 3LT NPP F55 C6 and went to my C7 and NEVER looked back.. you'll end up selling the C6 GS once you start driving the C7 daily, i can all but guarantee it.
hope any of that helps you see things from another perspective.
Thanks to everyone who posted. I think that I found some really good answers in there and I have started my hunt. 2016 seems to be the sweet-spot.
For the nay-sayers out there, some additional info -- I drove my '66 Corvette almost 7,000 miles this year. Even went from Seattle to Lake Tahoe. Later from Seattle to Medford. So I am doing what you say I should do to my 50+ year old car. How many of you are doing that?
Also I have three other cars that are in 1931 to 1936 year range. And I drive all of them throughout the summer months. One reason that they've lasted so long is because I don't beat them up. And that's largely why my 2013 is being babied. I want it to last a long time.
From 2016 to 2019, the C7's are, beyond color options, essentially the same - 2018 brought a slightly higher resolution back-up camera and the reintroduction of HD radio (previously available in 2014 & 2015).
Personally I like the front cameras (only with 2LT & 3LT), and for a daily driver in the PNW, heated seats might be nice - so I would look for a 2LT.
2018 also modified some displays in the cluster (I think Track display gets "pocket gauges")
While I don't drive my 2014 Z51 M7 daily, it had every check box marked for options available in that model year. It has plenty of features to make it a great daily driver, and the only real thing I wanted later on was Apple CarPlay. I added that by replacing a few components in the radio system.
I wouldn't walk away from an early C7; the 2014s have proven to be very reliable cars.

Agree, I really like my 2014 Z51 M7. It is a great driver and so much fun under all driving conditions. Any C7 will put a huge smile on your face.
Personally, if I were looking for a daily driver w/ few issues and most everything you'd want "creature comfort-wise", I'd be looking for a low mileage 2014 (whatever 1LT-2LT-3LT). Especially if you want an automatic. A6 over A8 all day long for daily driving reliability IMO. A 1LT is a superbly optioned car as is.
I know this is nearly 8 years later. Just wondering if anybody still feels this way?

Absolutely. I swapped a base 2016 3LT coupe with the A8 for a 2014 2LT Z51 coupe with the A6 transmission and have no regrets whatsoever. Much happier with the Z51 2LT trim/option package and the A6 transmission.
