Not trying to get the argument started again, really. I just thought the sparkle in the picture made it a good shot and worthy to be shared.
Lots of good pictures here and yes, the black and machine faced are great too.

A "battle" in people's minds, nothing more. Who cares what anyone else does with his/her own car???

So I came in to see what finally ended the chrome wheel argument, but found more bloviating. Would rather have my click back, but whatever.
Congrats on the new car anyway OP.

Chrome guy here. At least chrome shows in pictures. Most of the pictures of black wheels are featureless. Just look at the pictures on this forum. Black wheels, black tires, all in a dark area under the fenders, not showing much at all in pictures, or seeing one going down the road. "I lust love those black wheels". What black wheels? All I see is a black mass with no details. I guess I just don't understand.
I am glad, though, very glad that all you black wheel lovers, grey wheel lovers, machine faced wheel lovers, and so on, are out there. It would be boring beyond belief if we all wanted the same car.
Chrome will never go away, not until wheels themselves go away. I see new cars and trucks all the time with chrome wheels.
Viva la Difference!

probably won't be long before the black fad has run it's course and these threads will go away!
Amazing how much better the C7 looks overall as a result of the lighting in the top photo.

My generation chrome was the thing.
This generation is like what Henry Ford said, "any color you want as long as it's black."
You buy what you like. JMO
