I love it when someone post up a pic making all kinds of comments about his black wheels hello we can't see the wheels because they are a black blob.

I have to admit, these threads can be entertaining. Someone needs to go one step further and start a thread that asks:
Best color, vert or coupe, A8 vs M7, chrome vs black, wax vs ceramic vs PPF and stock vs modified. But it has to all be in the same thread.

Once you go black, you'll never go back....black wins!

So, I'm wondering about all these comments about black wheels being invisible. If a black car has silver wheels, is all one can see a set of wheels rolling down the road and no car? Is a black car w/ black wheels invisible?
Are black wheels really played out? Seems to me they've been around a lot longer than silver and certainly chrome wheels.

I like all the wheel colors depending on the color of the car.
I like the chrome torque wheels on my LRG. I like the polished aluminum wheels on my '05 LMB, but I HATED the painted wheels on my VR Z06; I wanted to replace them with black and a red rim stripe.
Categorizing who likes which wheel choice by age is just silly.

And about the 'invisible black cars with chrome wheels'... here are a couple of black cars with chromies....and the cars are clearly visible.
There's simply no question about which cars look better.

LMAO, in your mind there's no question, which is fine. I disagree, as do many others, but it's ridiculous to even argue about it. I respect what other people like even if I personally don't care for it. It would be a very crappy and boring as hell world if everyone wanted the same thing.
Do you really think posting yet another picture of a car w/ chrome wheels is going to convince anyone? I do not like the bling, but I'm happy it thrills you.
BTW, my post above was purely tongue-in-cheek, and just a comment on the silly remarks about "black invisible voids." I'm pretty familiar w/ what cars in chrome wheels vs. black look like. But, nice job of picking out crappy pictures of cars w/ black wheels in bad lighting next to highly retouched photos of cars w/ silver/chrome wheels.
There's no "invisible void" here, and I love the look.

I do like your car and have told you so in previous posts a while ago. The way light reflects off a black wheel makes a big difference in how it's either nice-looking, like yours, or looks like a dark void, like the ones I cherry-picked in my post above.

I honestly don't hate chrome wheels just like BLACK wheels a HELL of a lot better on the C7. 2 Corvettes ago I had Chrome wheels which looked great on my Red 2008 C6 that didn't have lots of black accents all over the car like the C7.
The C7 unlike previous generations was made for black wheels!
