I don't like the cell phone mount I'm using now, so what are you using and lets see some pics please.

The only good place to put your phone is in the console, where it will not distract you. That's why we have bluetooth.

Either one that clips on the air vent or one that uses 3M tape to attach to the console grab handle. Both use magnets to hold your phone. Seigen makes quality mounts.

Proclip base with Scosche magnetic mount stuck on it. Best combo IMO.

That's why I would recommend mounting it as high as you can. Lower down on the handle means you must look away from traffic. I use a vent mount with magnetic clip.

I agree with this and roll this way. I do use the WAZE app but when I am driving just turn up the volume and live w/o using the screen. With Apple Car Play it would be nice if WAZE would show up on the screen but it does not. I know that seems to contradict but the main screen is so much larger than the phone (even with my iPhone 7 Plus) that I think you could get away with quick glances.

I used a proclip/Scosche magnetic mount too, it’s a really solid, clean solution. I ran the cable up to the mount under the console to hide it.
