Default FOB not detected

So 2 years ago while driving my 2014 Stingray in heavy rains my Tire Pressure idiot lights went off on my cluster. Another aggravating issue was the FOB NOT DETECTED MESSAGE AND THE ALARM WOULD NOT ARM AND THE CAR WOULD NOT START. So took the car to my dealer they decided to change out the BCM. All was fine until today heavy LOCKED THE CAR AFTER GETTING TO MY DESTINATION WENT TO UNLOCK CAR NADA!!!!. HAD TO UNLOCK WITH EMERGENCY KEY. Once i popped open the trunk alarm went off and FOB STARTED IN AGAIN. NO FOB DETECTED BUT THE CAR STARTED. WOULD NOT LOCK THE CAR UNTIL I DROVE IT FOR A FEW MILES. ANY ANSWERS FROM ANYONE HERE AND HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS ISSUE?

If your fob has the original battery, I would replace it before doing anything else.

If I had to bet money, I would say what happened two years ago is not related to your current symptoms.

Your fob battery is likely on the way out.

My money’s still on “replace fob battery”.

Lots of people with similar problems say “fob battery tested good — can’t be the fob”. Finally replace fob battery and viola! Problem fixed.

It’ll cost you a whole $3 to find out.

I am going with the change battery crowd.

Buy a new package. Change battery in each fob, no matter what your meter is show as voltage in the current batteries.

Try both your fobs, they should start your car now.

A fresh new battery runs about ~3.2V.

I just had this issue with my 2014. FOB not detected. Doors wouldn’t open. I replaced the FOB battery. Same issue. Noticed the car battery voltage fluctuated from12.1 to 14v but would not stay consistent. Changed the car battery and all issues went away.

95% = FOB battery
3% = Car Battery
1% = Bad FOB
1% = BCM

That's my take on the No FOB Found!
