I am thankful for my new Grand Sport
Happy Thanksgiving Day!
I am thankful for many things this year, including my new Corvette.
It is a 2017 Grand Sport with:
• Blade Silver Paint
• Custom painted Carbon Black Mirrors and Hood Stripe
• Automatic Transmission
• Chrome GM Z06 wheels
• Custom Red Fend Hash Marks
I am very thankful to the following people and organizations, which were extremely helpful:
• My wife for letting me get it and going with me on a 4500 mile journey (Vegas – Detroit – Vegas)
• Les Stanford Chevrolet - Goran Krstovski - 313-724-1479 goran_krstovski@lesstanford.com
• Terre Haute Chevrolet – stayed late to do Day 1 500 mile Oil Change - terrehautechevrolet.com
• Findlay Chevrolet Parts and Service who sold me the Z06 Wheels and Installed them.
• VetteStripes.com (Mike @ (817) 729-6501) Custom Red Hash Marks
• Certified Auto Body Center (Vegas) Carbon Black Mirrors & Hood Stripe (Speedy 702-362-9500)
• CorvetteForum.com for all the very helpful research info.
Re: Fender Hash Marks: I know a lot of people think that the Hash Marks are Mickey Mouse; but to me they are almost a Corvette Trade Mark paying tribute to the Vette's racing heritage. These Hash Marks will provide me with a sense of Corvette Pride that will rival any Euro Sports car owner. Of course this is just my Not So Humble Opinion, which by the way differs from my wife's opinion; but they are growing on her now.
I believe that the red really compliments the Silver and Black color scheme.

Cool pics! Been out to that area a few times over the years, and the scenery is always amazing. Congrats on the GS!

Great looking GS. Congrats to you and your wife. Les Stanford has some pretty great deals going on ... my old hometown area (Detroit born and raised). Glad you survived the Detroit area roads on your trip.

I am thankful to live in a country where owning my dream car is possible.
When I was growing up, I never imagined that someday I would own the most iconic sports car in America. I am thankful indeed.
