Default Phoenix Auto Show Today....

Going to the Phoenix Auto Show today with my stepson. It's a tradition we've been sharing for the past 10 years or so. Then we do a late lunch at Pizzeria Bianco downtown. Awesome pizza.

Unfortunately, since the US debut of the ZR1 will be in LA, I'm sure it won't be in Phoenix today. I'll post some pics later when I get home.

Enjoy the show! My Dad, brother, and I always go to the Charlotte Auto Show when its in town.

Sadly, the Chevrolet display has been getting pretty void of anything exciting. The only Vette they had on display this year (couple weeks back) was a rather sedate 1LT vert with no options.

Yeah, it's all about marketing and not really for the enthusiast....

The front end was a McLaren copy and the rear wing was APR aftermarket. The hood is made by DarwinPro.

Here are some more photos:

Quite frankly, I think it's grotesque looking....looks like a hodge lodge of aftermarket parts....and the wheels

Just one man's opinion....to each his own....

Thanks for the tour my friend. There were some beautiful cars there. I'm always amazed at the amount of work, and detail the owners put into their low riders.

My son and I do the same with the Seattle auto show (couple of weeks ago) and the Vette display was nothing special....still cool to share with your offspring....
