Default Engine vibration?

Is engine vibration normal in the Lt1? A while ago I posted about a vibration in my clutch pedal after the vehicle is warmed up, now I think it's actually coming from the engine and not the transmission, only happens after the engine is completely warmed up. I had my fiance rev the engine while I had the hood popped and my hand on the engine. Definitely a good vibration in the engine, she only revved it to another 3500. Just not sure if these are supposed to be smooth or not. I don't recall my GT350 with the flat plane crank having this vibration, and I really hate going to dealer ships.

Go to a dealer and try another one or two to compare with. It's hard to be sure what you are experiencing remotely. I don't think my LT1 is the smoothest either, but I don't feel anything in the clutch-pedal which I'd equate with your description. Did you buy your C7 new or used???

Mine vibrates slightly while idling whether at start up or after it's warmed up but there is no real RPM fluctuation. I don't feel any roughness when applying power. This I take as being normal given it's a high performance engine.

Do your RPMs fluctuate?

I agree with a previous post who said bring it into the dealer.

New, 4500 miles, been happening the last 2k. It's strong enough in the clutch pedal to make my foot numb in heavy traffic

Yes, at idle the digital rpm guage can be pretty bouncy.

I would definitely bring it into the dealer to get it checked given the fact it's still under warranty.

Went to the dealer, shop foreman said he thinks that vibration is normal since it's a large pushrod engine, and since out of all the 8 other vettes on the lot none were manual he had nothing to compare it to to see if it's normal or not.

I would call other dealers to see if they have M7's on the lot. If they do, book appt to that dealer service deptartment and get a comparison.

Pretty sure there should be no RPM bounce at idle.

Here's a video of the bounce. Maybe it's normal and just not noticeable to most?
