Default C7 question

I just traded my C6 for a 2015 C7 Vert 2LT. When I first take off from a parking spot, it feels like the wheels are skipping over something, or I'm driving over a rock or something. Anyone know what this could be?

Especially true when the tires are cold.

Thread number 3,678 on this subject. Something makes me think this question will come up 20 or 30 years into the future.

Reading owner manuals and using the search feature can really educate the uneducated.

Oh, and BTW, try putting more info in the subject line. It will keep snarky comments like this to a minimum.

Get rid of the OME run craps and your issue will be gone forever.

Bad idea, very bad. One has to ask why do this when they are a great tire.
Saved my bacon I'll tell you that, would never have anything else.

It means you are driving a bad *** car that does not like to go slow. Just kidding. It's normal on C7's. Nothing to worry about.

Yes, I feel your pain, backing out of the driveway and turning hard it literally bounces the front end! It feels like you are literally running over a rock the size of a softball! Not to mention the loud thumps! It is worse when cold. Even after the tires are warm if you turn in a tight circle it will still bump, apparently it’s something called the Ackerman Effect? I am 60 plus years old, had dozens of cars including 4 corvettes and have never experienced this. It is unnerving to say the least.

You're comment was snarky. I didn't expect that from this forum. Maybe you need to take a break from this forum for a while.

Two things:

You had a C6 and never experienced the "problem" you're having with your C7? Amazing....

Even more amazing - you've been on the forum 10+ years and you write "I didn't expect that from this forum. Maybe you take a break from this forum for a while."

That's even more amazing.

I did experience it, but not even close to what this one does, and 2, I find 99% of the people here extremely helpful. So When I read a "snarky" remark, I am surprised. Why you find that amazing is troubling.

Without knowing the age of some of the rude posters, I still have to expect it develops from being on too many social media sites. I have never "joined" the idiots (most) on this experience. I have a sister, granddaughter, & daughter who have tried to sign me up but after hearing from people who do participate, news articles, etc., I have no desire to partake of bullying, shaming, unreasonable people spouting opinions as fact, etc. JMHO, you may or may not agree-that's fine-I just prefer to try & enjoy life w/o the drama I've heard about. It is bad enough on here from several who always disagree & argue over pages of posts with the same other folks who engage them (troll). When people run out of sensible facts & resort to name calling I'm out. Anyone who is on this or the Z06 forum recognizes the names/avatars of the habitual offenders. Again, sorry if I got long-winded or offended anyone, but sheesh it gets old seeing so much hate/anger on here over absolutely meaningless topics.
