Default C7 Mild 2 Wild Problems

I purchased a M2W last week and received it yesterday. I installed it per the directions and cannot get the remotes to work. I have tried with hood open and closed, infotainment in stealth and auto and cannot get it to work.

If I remove the fuse from the adapter and plug it back in, it works fine so fuse is not the issue, any suggestions?

Call them and ask. It sounds as though the box isn't getting power or not receiving the FOB transmission. Did you add the 2nd fuse to the power tap?

There is no second fuse....I installed the fuse I removed from slot 42 to the power tap....is a second fuse supposed to be in the kit?

Well, the power tap uses the original fuse AND a 2nd fuse for the M2W box. You need 2 fuses in the power tap.

Does the power tap look like this?

There are 2 fuses in that tap.

Wait a second. THis might be different, crap... Let me go look.. I hate getting old!

My bad! 1 fuse, the one you removed from the block and a white wire where the 2nd fuse would be.

Back to not getting the radio signal from the FOB or no power to the black box.

Looks like a call to them would be appropriate. The install is very simple. Was there a black ground wire? Good ground? Did you stretch out the blue antenna wire and secure it?

Ground wire attached to screw near airbox. Blue wire stretched out and zip tied along fender.

Well it’s possible you got some older fobs. Maybe the batteries are dead.

My guess is the fob batteries too. They do not come with very good quality batteries and they do not last long.

Definitely something to check too! Quick, cheap and pretty much would eliminate everything but the rcvr box.

Yep, I'm guessing fob batteries too.

I have tried auto and stealth.

Lights illuminate very bright so I thought batteries were prob ok. If not, It must be actual box.

Just exchange it.

I had the same problem and it turned out to be a bad remote.
