It all goes in cycles. We should welcome all new folks, and try to answer their questions, even though they've been heard many times before. It keeps this place alive, and the search function can be maddening in that you find yourself wading through piles of irrelevant info.

A “veteran” on a car forum holds a lot of weight If you are down on “newbs,” then just move on-to the veteran threads.

OP, what were you a little over three years ago??

Other than trolls, I haven't seen a simpleton question on this forum in my 18 years.

Maybe you misunderstand one of the purposes for this forum...

I just bought a new 2017 C7- 7-days ago. I'm here to enjoy and hopefully learn about my car, from others more knowledgeable than me. I've gotta lot of dumb, newby questions. You're welcome to give me dumb-looks, if you're not interested in interactive discussion.

We were all "newbs" once. The purpose of the forum is to learn from others and share our passion for the Corvette.
