On my GS, would it be any better to just change the front tires to all season due to low temps, or would it cause more issues?? I hope some tire company jumps in with the correct tires soon, I could just be stressin' over it too much?
Answer is no. I just put a new set of Michelins MPSS on my Z & I asked the same question. You still have the MPSS on the rear & that is where most of our problems lie is in cold traction. Just going to have to live with being very careful driving in weather mode with temps below 50 degrees, or have a beater car to drive. Does not look like Michelin is going to come with a Run Flat All Season for the rear anytime soon.
Just think.... would you rather have the front end of the car break loose, or the rear?
I think I would rather try to control under steer rather than over steer.
Last week they were testing Michelin AS tires at Spring Mountain Corvette Owners School in GS/Z06 sizes...I expect release will be forthcoming in the next couple of months.

That's good news for our GS/Z06 friends.
Michelin officially said within the last month that those tires were not in production and did not have an expected production date, so it's hard to predict how much time from testing to availability.
Michelin has been "making" vaporware widebody A/S tires for many years. Despite previous announcements, the C6 widebody cars just got an A/S Michelin last month.
For those who can't wait, the Michelin Alpin, which is a serious winter/snow tire, is currently available for the C7 widebodies.
