I had a 2014 Z51 and I bought it in July of this year. Never heard a squeak or anything until it got cold. The sound was right in my ear every time I hit a bump or did anything that made me or the seat move.
Sold the car recently and bought a new 2017 GS. Same thing, sounds like the squeak is coming from the headrest area of the driver seat. Extremely annoying since it's right in your ear the whole time.
Not sure if it has to do with 50 degree temperatures, but has anyone else experienced this noise? If so, how did you fix it? I'm thinking of taking it to the dealership to diagnose and fix.

Hmm, had a 2014 Z51 and sold it this year to buy a Grant Sport. Nothing in the seat, which the headrest is intergral, to squeak.
Had a noise coming from the right side of the 2014 that took me several months to find. Turns out it was the passenger side seat belt buckle hitting the plastic back! Easy to check, buckle the passenger belt when no one is in the seat. If it goes away that was it. Hard to pinpoint where sounds are coming from.
When I got the Grand Sport knew it would be and issue so used the solution I had for the 2014. A seat belt pad fits around the buckle!
Sure it's not coming from the targa top's rubber seals? I noticed a squeaking noise recently now that temps have dropped. Sometimes my rear hatch has the same noise coming from the rubber seals.

99.9% sure it's coming from the headrest because I can push and tug and wiggle it while I am driving (man, that sounds dirty) and can get the headrest to make a squeak/creaking noise. I think it's because of the plastic attaching to the leather (the black plastic behind the seat).
So I think I figured out what's making the noise. These are non-competition seats. Right where the vent/opening is on the backside, the leather rolls up under the back plastic. That is rubbing and making the noise. I don't want to stuff anything up in there but there's got to be a way to stop the squeak.

Yep, silicone as was suggested. Use it to lub the window, hatch and roof rubber seals as well!
