like some have said already, for sure try and "do" vegas after the school, lol.
you want your focus to be on the track and classroom sessions, so you get the most out of it!
cheers!
These instructors rock!!!

As a very long time motor cycle driver, like 51 years, there is no doubt in my mind that you go where you look. See an obstacle in the road and fixate on avoiding it, and for sure you're going to hit it...look where you want to go, not at what you want to avoid...

Agree!!! I ride a lot of miles per year and I really think my motorcycle experience helped me a lot in this class

Like everyone has said. Great course with practical information for daily driving. I wasn't sure what to expect but had a blast even though I may never hit the track again.

Is the experience worth it knowing you won't be putting in track time? As much as I want to experience the track, I went with a Grand Sport Convertible, and I have no desire to install a cage in my car. I chose the drop top experience over racing.

With that being said, has anyone experienced the 2 day course knowing they won't be racing their C7's at the track? It doesn't seem like a bad deal at $1,000 for two days which I believe includes one overnight stay. Did anyone find the training beneficial for every day street use i.e defensive driving?

Thanks.
I did bought a c7z convertible. Love it so much i bought a c6z to track. Yes on the driving benfits.

Sounds like a lot of people have attended this with rave reviews. I want to attend in 2018!

Is there a "better" time of year to go from a weather perspective?

I was there last week. Highs were upper 60's; lows in the 40's overnight. Track is cool in the morning which works well when you get the cars warmed up. The instructors indicated that during the hot summer months the wheels and track get much hotter and tougher to get quite the same grip we were getting when I was there. They run the course rain or shine although they said it doesn't rain there very often in the desert.

Have fun.

Fall or Spring are the best weather months from both a climate comfort and track temp perspective.

I went last October, perfect weather. I spent 2 days on the track and my wife spent 2 days in the sun. Add a couple days in Vegas at the pool/spa and you will have one of the greatest experiences ever.

Cost me an afternoon at the Bellagio Spa! And was well worth it.

To hang out at the school will cost her nothing. To take the school she will be charged the normal class rate.
