Don't forget -- memory settings 1 and 2 are linked to FOB1 and FOB2 respectively. If you set the memory settings on setting #1, and then the next time you get into the car you are using the fob2, the settings will change to the FOB2-linked settings (settings #2).
To answer the obvious follow-up question, no, there is no physical way to tell which fob is programmed as #1 or #2 -- whichever fob was programmed 1st is the one that is set as "fob #1".

Reason: clarified
For a manual, you have to set the parking brake to get the driver's settings to return to the fob.
Something else, manually setup the 'exit' mode. I noticed that during exit, your seat slides back, the steering wheel moves up and away, and.... the mirrors move.
I set the exit to only move the steering wheel, while keeping the mirrors at my settings. So, even if you forget to set the parking brake, the only thing you have to fix is your steering wheel (that is if you are tall and already have the seat all the way back).
For those who find it hard to find topics in the manual (which should be about everyone), download a PDF version of it from the sticky threads in this forum. Then you can search the manual for subjects. I do this with every manual I can.
Press the most left button release then hold the memory position button 1 or 2 whatever you would like until it beeps twice. You have to be quick in between buttons.

Now that's the problem! I did not know that.
I have set the seat memory numerous times, and it never "remembers" my settings. Very frustrating. Watched all the You Tube videos about it and read how to do it, but it never worked.
