Default Bye for now

Hey all,

I completed my sale tonight and no longer own this prestigious machine. I am going to miss her, but I see the Z on the horizon and thats what I want and will start saving.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the help everyone has contributed over the years I owned her. Some sarcastic but mostly helpful. I am going to disappear for a while because this was hard for me and I want to think as little about the car as possible and being its winter it may be easier to do. I felt like this is like putting the family pet down. The lady at carmax came back with just the license plates and the check. Felt exactly like putting fluffy down at the vet.

Anyway bye for now.

My dad bought a boat when I was in middle school, and we kept it until I I was a senior in high school. We used it a good amount and had many good memories associated with it. He sold it the summer before I went to college. I remember when he sold it and the buyer drove off with our boat hitched to his truck, both of us ran inside the house and cried. “Things” can have a hold on you when there is emotion associated with them.

No sellers remorse here after 15+ years of great ownership.

Moved on to this.

I got rid of my last vette a few months ago... no reason to leave the forum behind. I still visit almost daily. Always good conversation here.

Forget the stumbling on themselves Z06 and save for the c8 like me....

unless we find out it really is 150K and we look dumb and end up buying a slightly used z06 for 75K. I might stumble n myself but it will be fast.. haha
