Corvette Mods is advertising a Paddle Shift Decal for changing the color of your paddle shifters. The photo they show can't be correct because it has color on both sides of the shifter. I bought the decals and they only go on the face side of the shifter. I haven't installed them yet, because it looks like it's going to be PITA.
Since you guys and my go-to gurus, has anyone else bought these and if so how did you install them without removing the steering wheel?
You don't have to remove the steering wheel to remove the switches. Just disconnect the battery and remove the air bag and you can get access to the two screws to remove the each switch. The switches can be taken apart easily and the paddles painted separately or whatever.
Lots of How-To threads with great pictures. Google search is your friend.
I'd be concerned with stick-ons that only cover the front, because every time you shift up or down, you are pulling on the backside of the paddles, and I'd be worried that the overlay would come up sooner rather than later.
Seems as if this would be a problem unless you only touched the center back of the paddles, which anybody who has used them will tell you that's not what happens. The edges (where the stick-ons are) get touched and pulled.

Thought I would give you an update on the Corvette Mods Paddle Shifter Decals. I finally got around to installing them on my car. I thought these would be a real PITA to install and figured I have waisted $20. I was wrong, they installed in about 10 minutes and look great.
1. You need to remove the decal from the carrier sheet.
2. Put a corner of the carrier sheet on the very edge of the decal so that you can use the carrier sheet as a kind to handle to hold on to.
3. Now carefully slide the decal into the proper position on the paddle shifter.
4. Once in position press it down to make sure it in the proper position. Then press it down so the it that it sticks.
5. Use a towel (or some other soft item) to press the decal into the space between the steering wheel and the shifter.
If you take your time, you should be happy with the results.
Does anyone make titanium ones? My G37 had them and it was much nicer looking.
There is a company that makes a set of larger performance set of shifters. They are pretty costly in comparison. You did to remove the steering wheel to install them.
