Default Ivan Tampi Custom's Widebody Stingrays at LA Auto Show (Pics)

I didn't see Ivan when I stopped by his booth at the LA Auto Show, but his latest widebody conversions would have been hard to miss. While there are more mods on these cars than I care for personally, the quality workmanship is quite evident.

My mom always told me “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything.” So I have no comment on those things.

While all the flourishes are a little over the top, I have to say I like Ivan's wide-body shape better than GM's wide-body.

A shame with the basically nice (imho) body mods, i.e. front-end and wide fenders he didn't show a car decked out that way. Amazing how much crappola can be stuck onto an otherwise nice design and masterfully... screw it ALL up.

I agree the craftsmanship is certainly there. I guess if you have the coin; he can probably do it up the way you would want

Now imagine, cover all of it (on the outside) with Long Beach Red... No stickers, no CF.. Make it look like a car... I think it would look pretty good.

Yeah, but looking past all the bling, that wide-body design is far more attractive than GM's C7 design. I don't know what it costs, but as others have said, you could most certainly have a standard looking car w/o all the bling.

Big Fan also of his design.Crunch some numbers.A used z51 with his wide body.Yes,Minus all the extra bling.A nice dark color.
If you could paint yourself? The number would winn.A super charger would finish the package

Their skirts blending into rear quarters reminds me of the

I was also thinking it reminded me much more of the C7R than the OEM design does.

Yes his fenders and front fascia look great. The show cars go further than I would want as far as customization. But to each his own. I love the body work.

Did anyone notice the rear bumper flexing a good inch or two at that speed...

So is that normal for all of our bumpers or a design flaw of that widebody kit??
