Most of you have heard me talk about my Friend that owns a Z06, the other day he was driving he heard a loud bang then nothing, they towed it to dealership and found out engine was done, this was at 8700 miles.
He is not happy especially since they say replacement engine there will be a delay getting one. He has told on a warm day it would get hot, he has had to dealerships a few times on cooling issues.
He told me yesterday when he gets car back he will find a GS and stay away from supercharged cars
Thanks for the almost factless tale of a Z06 that blew an engine. Please let him know from the rest of us non blown engine Z06 owners, that we wish him well while he goes on a HP diet.
I don't track mine but I do play with mine enough so she knows what I expect......I am thankful mine has worked flawlessly from the day I picked it up as many others have theirs. If the above were to happen to me I would enjoy it as much as the one I had. I think you should just keep it when you get it back and enjoy it as you have to this point, unless it was more than you were comfortable with when you purchased it. If that's the case enjoy what you trade into.

Yes, we certainly do hear a lot about 'your friend' here. Too bad he doesn't participate here on his own as it seems he would have a lot to offer. Especially when it comes to supporting your opinions/threads/posts.
Ah, another “which corvette is best corvette” thread. Given OP owns a GS, I’m going to say GS is the best Corvette. I’m going to say 6 to 7 pages, then it’s closed.
