Absolutely no regrets, here!

I drove 600 miles today, and will drive another 500 tomorrow and again the next day. The seats are perfectly comfortable for me, but Mrowc6 doesn't find them so for long distances. He prefers the C6, so I left him behind, and he will fly to Texas.

I think 800 miles was my longest solo day, and other than it being a long day, the seats were perfectly comfy.

The only way to know is to spend time in the car as was mentioned up thread. There doesn't seem to be a consensus, unlike the C6.

Fit nice, comfortable and good support under aggressive cornering.
But as you say; a PITA to get in and out of.

I find that the seats in My GS are not as comfortable for everyday driving as the Sport Seats in my C5 were. Basically, they are too narrow in my opinion. Probably better for high performance driving, provided you can fit between the boosters and not on top of them. Also the entire cockpit area is noticeably smaller than my C5. Overall quality of the interior is vastly improved though.

IMO, the C7 is better in every way, especially the seats.
I don't have a problem with the left side bottom bolster, but can see how some would.
Some have had an upholstery shop install softer foam in that area, or get it shaved down.
Others drilled holes in the foam to soften it a bit.
I also find I have a lot more head room than I did in my C6, and I'm only 5' 8"

I did give my large sister-in-law and brother-in-law a ride and they both said: "Corvettes aren't made for fat people!"

Everyone else comments on how comfortable the seats are.

I'm used to sports cars, so I love the seats. My only regret is getting a car with the exact options I wanted, but skipping the comp seats. My comp seat swap kit arrived on Friday. I think much of what we find comfortable or uncomfortable has to do with our size and build. At 5'8", the GT seats are perfect for me, comp will be even better though

Seats? Not so good for my butt and left leg. I find the seat backs to be a big improvement over previous Corvettes, but not the hard seat bottom bolster on the left side. And yes... I've experimented with different settings over 18k miles. Fine around town, but for long trips found a gel cushion. Problem solved! Oh... I'm 5'11" and 190 lbs.

Fantastic car!

I'm also 5'11"/230lbs and the left thigh bolster gets annoying in town, especially with a manual transmission, meaning I can't rest my leg up.

Where did you get the gel cushion? Any specific brand?

I've had my 2017 z51 1LT M7 since Sunday and loving every second. The engine, the visceral sound, the handling, the cutting edge tech(OnStar, Android Auto, Digital Dash), and killer looks. NO REGRETS.

First, a correction. I looked at it, and it is not gel. A dense foam. However, my point still sticks it made road trips more comfortable. The small cushion I use was originally purchased for my desk chair. Probably purchased at one of the office stores.

It gets down to I just needed half an inch more cushion in the butt, and a little padding against that left bolster. And then "all right with the world!"

we left fla with 600 miles on the car. 3000 miles and a week later, we are back from west va. my seat (bottom) was really tight and uncomfortable when we left. at some point in the trip, either the seat or my legs adapted. that being said, 9 hours is the longest continuous ride so far. I've not noticed the seat tightness now for 15 months,

Very comfortable car. Don't be worried -- you wont find the seats to be uncomfortable, even when compared to a "normal" car

The C7 seat bottom pinches in on my thighs to the hamstrings. I noticed this on the 250 mile drive back from the selling Chev. dealer. Now, I notice it every time I'm in the car. I'm not a fatass either. The rest of the seat feels fine. I wish it'd have 2" to 3" more of travel backwards. The reclined seat back is against it's stop.

I had a similar problem but with numerous experiments on the settings I've been able to get away from the hamstring pressure.

I don't find the seat as comfortable as on my C6 but it may be due to a back problem. I can drive my C6 for longer distances without a problem but haven't been able to find that sweet spot on my C7. But I'm still trying and it seems to slowly be getting better as I try different seat positions.

One thing I would say is that for those with problems to also try steering wheel adjustments (up/down, forward/backward) because that also makes a difference.

I'm 6'3" and about 190 lbs.
