Interior suede inserts
I am thinking about upgrading my seats by adding the suede inserts to the adrenaline red seats
I’m curious how well that suede wears. The car is my daily driver but I am the second owner and did not hand pick the options
I like the two tone look but am worried that suede will not stay as nice as the all leather seats

I had the suede inserts on my 15 convert. They are more comfortable and tend to hold you in place better. I wish I had ordered them on my 17 GS but didn't want the suede steering wheel. The suede wears very well..

if the choice of color in the material of choice is available it would be readily available to them and then they could actually do the material swap for you..........

Love the suede inserts on mine.
Bought some sonax suede cleaner and it cleans off any spots really easily. Just brush in, dab with microfiber towel, and let dry.
I figure after a long time it's going to wear regardless... Leather starts to get wrinkles and suede will flatten. You could always replace the covers if it bothers you that much but I think you're fine unless you're doing a lot of driving in it.

The suede on our seats seems to be wearing better than the suede on the steering wheel.

If you're going to do it OP, might want go all the way and convert your GT seats to Competition seats. Just got my competition seat conversion kit from Gene at Cultrag. My winter storage project. A great step by step write up in the tech section about the conversion

The "suede" in the seat inserts is different than the "suede" of the trim.
The inserts are very easy to clean, and the trim is not, whatsoever. They are two different materials.
My inserts look brand new, but the trim is matting in a few select places.

I have it, it wears great as long as you take care of it. I saw someone earlier mentioning commercial products they use but really all you need is soapy water and a rag. I just wet the rag with warm soupy water, wring it out until I can't get any more water out, then I rub it over the suede. When you look at the rag you'll see all the nasty crap you're pulling out of the material. Keep at it until the rag comes back clean.
It really doesn't mat down like some people say on the steering wheel or the seats if you clean it regularly. The suede just does that as it gets weighed down by dirt, sweat and other crap. Keep it clean and it'll stay like new for many years.
