Raise the seat up as far as it goes. Pull or use a hard plastic trim removal tool to remove the switch ***** (removal tools to find at Harbor Freight).
Carefully pull the switch panel cover off. You'll need a bit of force to pull it. Start at either the top or bottom of the switch plate. The switches snap in/out of the switch plate.
Take your time and if necessary warm up the switch plate so it's easier to remove.
