Why AC always?

Since my C5, I just leave it in AUTO and adjust the temperature **** up or down. If the windshield fogs, hit defrost...nothing to it.

My GS matches phatpipez. In Auto mode, recirc. is off. Turn on recirc. and Auto goes off.

Perhaps the AC goes into recirc. temporarily when a manual temperature change is made to adjust the temperature as rapidly as possible?

It looks like Recirc is the default without lighting the Recirc button?

Thanks for the compliment, but now I'm getting confused. Since our car is in semi-storage, and it's cold enough outside that the car might want to stay in recirc mode longer to warm up the interior faster, I can't add much at this point.

Its to take moist air out !! You should use it especially if any of you cars are parked outside ( and I have 2 parked outside ) and let it work 1-3 minutes before you turn on the defrost !!! Wayne
