How to remove wiper scuffs from the windshield?
I have a wiper scuff on the windshield glass that doesn't seems very deep as I can run a fingernail over it and it is smooth. Is there a product anyone has used with success that I can rub on the windshield by hand and remove the scuff? Thanks

^^^ And make sure you get it ALL OFF!!!!! Like any abrasive, if you leave any of it on, the next time you use your wipers it will make matters slowly worse. Several wet paper towels to wipe it off. My other solution might be to use glass stove top cleaner. It's a little less abrasive. My take is to always go from least toward most, most being the point where bad things can happen sooner.

Try just regular car wax.

Clay bar... No residue and heaven forbid don't use 0000 steel wool. Car wax ... Not on my glass. I use Invisible Glass or my own concoction 1oz of Wink, 1 oz of RainX and windshield washer fluid in the rest of the 20 oz bottle. Wink is a rust remover and will take off water spots. DO NOT USE THIS MIXTURE ON ANYTHING BUT GLASS.

Usually, glass is extremely hard to correct. It is not like paint that is much softer. You are looking for a product that contains cerium oxide. You can buy it in Amazon in bulk for around 10 bucks and then make a slurry to use with an orbital. Just depends on if you want to pay way more for a prepared product or DIY.

There is a glass polish that opticians use to polish glass lenses I dont remember what its called or where to buy it but if it can polish the glass lenses it should do great on windshields

Yes I know most glasses today are plastic. But there are still some made with glass. I was an optician in the Navy and we made many pairs of glasses that were glass so something should be out there to polish glass

Many good suggestions above but do you regularly clean your wiper blades? Or at least make sure nothing resting on top of the blades (leaves, dirt). Cleaning the blades is part of my regular car washing procedure and of course replacing the wiper blade when appropriate.
