I'm dying to take tons of pictures of my new Torch Red beast but it'll be stuck inside my garage for a while now that we're getting one snowstorm after another up here.
It does seem to be a tricky color to capture perfectly in pictures though, it needs to be seen in person to truly appreciate it.
BTW I dig the white letter tire look. I'd like to get some for mine, but I have the silver painted wheels, (which I actually like) and I'm not sure if it will look right. Great ride!

Cameras work in a garage!
Experimenting with photos is just another way of enjoying your C7. Look forward to seeing some when weather gets better.
I wish I could take great pics like that in my garage! My current garage is just a single car garage, with terrible lighting (one single bulb!) so I not only have poor lighting but not enough room to back far enough away from the car to take a shot with the entire car in it. I can't wait to move to my new house with a double car garage (it won't be ready until August though)
I love how Torch Red looks at night! I never liked how my LeMans Blue C6 looked at night, it was too dark and didn't have the same pop (it only looked it's best in the bright sun, IMO), but TR looks great even when the sun isn't shining!
It reminds me a little of GM sunset metallic, my favorite colour
The friend who painted it for me put on "extra clear coat" and then we had a pro come and use a razor blade/buffer to bring out the glass-like quality
He would scrape the surface of the clear coat with the blade to get it smooth in places
