Default Anybody recognize this?

Found this under front of my new zo6 on garage floor. Not too much near or around that this could have come from. Look familiar to anyone. I was jacking the car to change brake pads.

Need something in picture for reference so can tell how big it is...
If it is big enough to be a boot on power steering, etc. it is had to see how it would have fallen off.

Sorry didn’t think about size. Its 1 inch long by 5/8 inch diameter. Definitely some kind of rubber plug with circular locking rings to keep it in place in whatever tube or hole it plugs. Was on steering side of front.Could it be something extra dropped by worker on the line?

If the car isn't a dd, why not take the found subject item to your local dealer and ask if service can identify it ?

Looks like it belongs on one of your caliper pins.

Looks like a protective cover for a hose or tube fitting on an AC system component.

That looks like caliper grease inside the rubber.

Looks like a caliper pin boot. But the corvette brakes don't use them. Maybe from a different car, did you do brakes on anything else.

It could be the protective cover for the brake bleeder on the caliper,.....I can't tell how small it is because there's coin next to it in the photo.

Sorry guys. False alarm. Looked like something official off the car but did more checking and realized it came off my shop light I was using! Good to know some of you responded with some helpful comments anyway.
