Not legally. When you call to set up a date, the first thing they ask for is your VIN and they check to see who bought that vehicle.

Hopefully you’re asking and hope to be on the receiving end. You’d be crazy to give it away.

Age is just a number unless you decide to make it a limit.

You learn a lot about your car and the capabilities of the car, not just about racing. Its well worth going if you have never been.

I can almost guarantee that if you go - you WILL be smiling a great deal. You may not want to drive as hard as someone who is in their 30's - but you will almost certainly have a great time !!!! You will also learn something about the cars capabilities, and even if you don't push the car at all - the stuff you learn in the classroom will be beneficial in day to day driving....

If nothing else - you'll be hanging out with a bunch of car guys - is that a bad way to spend some time ???

Just attend the classroom sessions (learn all about the C7 technology) and maybe ride with the instructors on the track. Also you get breakfast and lunch both days.

Both my wife and I did Ron Fellows. If I never go on another track it will still be well worth it.

I'd say that was the median age when I attended.

Is this certificate given to US owners only? I didn't get any certificate with my new car purchase up here in Canada.

Thanks.

No certificate was given to me. Just call the school and they will set you up. You qualify if you bought your car in the last 12 months.

Our 2017 did not come with a certificate, but there was a flyer in the bunch of paperwork explaining the school. When I called the school, they asked for my VIN to verify my purchase and date.

If you're interested, I'd call the school and ask. Friendly people.

I went and most of the class were "older" types. Well worth the money IMHO. I learned how little my experience with my 04 helped my use nay of the potential of my 17 Z51. I found out how far beyond my butt & gut settings I could go, in their car. Also made over $300 in the casino next to where they housed me.
