If all he wanted to do was drag race maybe...you can't honestly compare a demon to anything that can turn. Compare a Demon to a CobraJet...then you can benchrace them. That Bugatti does like 250+...and will turn.

Kudos to the Mustang, but it's still a Mustang (even when modded, shockingly), like a Camaro is a Camaro, and a Corvette is a Corvette.

I admire the Demon's power output and Dodge's ***** to build it in the 1st place, but it takes more than that for me to consider it a real car and not a cool one trick pony.

I am sorry I hurt your feelings saying your Mustang looked hideous next to your Corvette. I thought I was on a Corvette forum.

I do like Mustangs but they damn sure aint a Corvette. Outta here with your Mustang circle jerking

I don't think I would say a Mustang looks hideous, but the Corvette easily looks $20-30K more expensive inside and out.

I really considered a GT350, but after doing some cross-shopping the C7 just felt like it was on another level in terms of asthetics. C7 felt more like a pure sports car in terms of seating postion and overall driving experience.

Loved that falt plane crank in the GT350 though, the sound is intoxicating.

I was complimenting Corvettes. Mustangs are nice cars and I have driven them for over a decade switching to the Corvette this year. Side by side it is a huge differece. He has a really nice Vette though

Already reached out to Jimbo and the guy who doesn't like my hat to invite them to Denny's for a cherry coke and grand slam breakfast to apologize for my immature wording of hideous. I guess we can take his Mustang there.

The Stock A10', 3.55's with DR's are doing 7.8's @ 92 in the 1/8 here at Irwindale. I may run Fontana on Wed night 1/31 and see what the 18 GT's are doing.

Isn't the CAMARO the "natural" competition for the Mustang?

Sad and a little disappointing. Although i enjoy my C7 I always felt that a base C7 should have come stock with 500+ in order to stay relevant longer. In the past it’s often been said that the corvette is the best performance value money can buy. Is this really still true? Maybe from a road course performance perspective but 99% of owners will never have the skill to find out. On the other hand pretty much anyone can run a 1/4 mile.

I am glad to see all the car manufacturers stepping up their products performance benchmarks. I am a car enthusiast who likes all cars, just like the Corvette better than the rest is all. The Ford Mustang is a great little car and the performance has gotten really good. Will it keep up with a C7? Maybe, depending on who is driving it and where it is driven. Stock vs stock though, in the hands of a pro driver on a race track... Corvette all day. It is what it is.

i enjoy all cars, just did a quik search on Mustang higher end heck the price was more then a base Corvette when did this happen? must of been sleeping for a few decades.

I admit do like the 2019 Bullet or Shellby but if same price the Vette wins for me, but tempted either road.

I was thinking about upgrading to a 2018 GT from this:

Until I saw the new pricing. I like the changes that Ford made, but at the price, the Corvette was just a no brainer. Now I just need to put FI on the Vette.
