I fell for the marketing hype in years past. Remember "triple edge", etc. Never found anything that worked better than OEM for any of my vehicles and they usually looked out of place on the car, because they were not engineered specifically for the car.
OEM only. Don't fall for the Safelight crapola........
This is WINDSHIELD WIPER replacement. I know it is easy to mis-read the OP's thread starter, I did too at first. But then again, maybe Safelight makes wipers too.

I also stay with OEM, and found I can buy them at the dealer with my parts discount cheaper than I can buy at the parts store.
GM recommends that you not use any wiper fluids with water repellants since they can cause streaking or skipping.
I had that problem with RainX applied directly onto the windshield, as per instructions on the bottle and not using too much. Switched to Aquapel about 10 years ago and no streaking/skipping, seems to work a little better than RainX and also lasts longer. I've not tried anything special in the washer fluid, and don't plan to.
