Now I'm pretty sure this isn't happening but is an interesting story. Years ago we had some garage doors opening in my neighborhood by themselves. It didn't happen to me but nobody could figure it out. Then on the news one night I saw that it was apparently caused by some new Navy antennas on a nearby mountain that transmitted signals on the same frequency as the garage door openers. As I recall, the Navy changed their frequency and no more problems.
Some 1 in your area may have their's set on the same code. Also a leaf or anything could break the beam and cause it to open before it closed all the way.
I always wait to make sure mine is completely closed before driving away.
