I have 2 types of driving gloves. One type is a leather that fits tight with a firm grip and the other type is "damn this steering wheel is cold".

I don't wear driving gloves, but I would never dream of a sprited run without the gold chains and ponytail.

I will only wear them in my Porsche 356 with a plastic rim steering wheel and in my Cobra with a wood rim steering wheel. They help protect the wheel and stop your hands slipping from sweat. Never in the corvette.
