KERBECK'S Corvettes
You can trade in your car, just don't expect more than wholesale.
I sold my car outright and made out better than any dealer would have offered me. Sold it in a day on the for sale section of this forum. Another option is CarMax. They seem to offer top dollar when purchasing a car.
As far as purchasing a car, when financing the cost for a new car at Kerbeck isn't much more than a used vette at most other dealers plus the finance rate if you have good credit is way lower than the finance rate of a used car.
Keep in mind Manheim has seller fees, plus transportation from Atlantic City, NJ to Manheim, Pa. Then the hope to make some sort of profit.
Every dealer pays the same from Chevrolet for the Corvette. You have a better chance of trading and getting more then below wholesale value for your trade with a smaller dealer and asking them to match Kerbecks price on the new car.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
2. The volume dealers that charge the least for the cars...Kerbeck being one of them also offer the least for trades. You won't find it both ways. If a dealer is giving you more for the trade, you will be paying more for the car one way or the other. Could be via higher interest rate financing, higher price for the car or add-ons but you will pay more.
3. If you are not satisfied with the offer a dealer makes for your trade...sell it on your own. You will usually get substantially more selling it outright and the buyer will get a better deal buying from you rather than a retail dealer.
Hendrick Automotive Group also sells and services Volkswagen, Lexus, Volvo, Subaru, Dodge, Audi, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Honda, Cadillac, Fiat, Scion, Porsche, GMC, Acura, Kia, Jeep, Buick, Mazda, BMW, Land Rover, Geo, MINI, Toyota, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, Ram, Nissan vehicles.

I went through one of the forum dealers - Mike Furman at Criswell. My local dealer wasn't even close and the other two forum dealers gave comparable deals on the cars, but Mike pulled ahead of them by at least $3,000 more on my trade-in.
Talking Kerbeck's prices with several local, smaller dealers was a complete waste of time, in my experience. All they managed was to sputter. And, their selections sucked.
