Default First 'Vette

Had a 2013 Mustang GT that I loved, but had to get rid of it 3 years ago due to life shenanigans. Have been chomping at the bit to get back into a "fun" car since.

Wife and I had a few requirements:
- at least 8 cylinders
- RWD
- manual
- convertible
- black or blue

When it came time to pull the trigger, we went and looked at several cars. Sat in a new Mustang, a new Camaro, a C6, and finally a C7. Once we sat in the C7 we knew it was going to be the car for us.

Picked this 2015 up used with only 5700 miles on the clock. Base model, but has Nav/PDR, Z51 wheels/tires and the NPP exhaust. Bought it at the end of September, but only recently finally got some decent pics of it.

That's better. Now, see if you can edit your original post to include the pictures. There should be an edit button on the bottom right side of your post.

Never mind, I fixed your original post.

Looks beautiful. Huge upgrade over the Mustang (I upgraded to a Corvette from a 2015 Mustang). Amazing choice.

Like it. I really don't mind the pony car but had them and still do all my life...Black is on my short list but not fussy so many colors.

Default funny what is considered "base" these days

back in '92 I bought a new base Miata for 13,999; no power steering, no ac, no power windows, no stereo, steel wheels, cloth seats and no limited slip, what a blast for 116 HP......
