Default Rail car question

I was just wondering is there a way to get the rail car number without going threw the selling dealer.

Sorry you are having issues with your selling dealer. They really should provide you with this type of information. Anyway, you may be able to get your rail car number from Chevy chat (some have been successful this way). Note that rail car numbers is not assigned until your car has actually been loaded on a rail car - usually 5 or more days AFTER it arrives at the Toledo rail yard. Another option might be to see if you can get one of the forum dealers to get you the information out of the goodness of their heart.

yep did try chevy chat, didn't work. I know that dealers do this. Was just curious because of some of our members have had this problem.

Don't waste your time trying to check on the rail car. When mine was shipped the RR recorded status did not change from the day it was supposedly delivered to the rail yard to a week or more after my car was delivered. I don't think I checked it after that so don't know how long it was still incorrect.
