Stingrays growling noises
Has any one experienced a strange noise when just maintaining 28 to 35 mph then when accelerating it stops. I had 13000 miles on 2017 Stingray before it started and it is an automatic. Dealer told me there is a bulletin? out about changing differential fluid. I cant really tell where noise is coming from. Thanks

"In honor of jpee"
I'm sure you'll get more responses. Depending on how good the dealer tech is, I'd say let them put it up on a lift and/or test drive it so they can find the noise. I hope they don't just "do the TSB" and call it a day. Diagnose, then fix, is better.

Growling noises
I had it at dealer for a recall and the tech took it for a ride with me and I felt he didn't know for sure what it was hence the differential fluid comment. New appt. scheduled this week at another dealer so we will see what happens there. Thanks.

Kissing Your Sister
Going to the service drive to 'fix' this is just like kissing your sister. Not very satisfying and all kinds of wrong. Mysterious noises have no dealership solution. This should be filed in the just get used to it drawer. I did for two reasons. One being, I have no sister.

Unusual noises in drive train apparently found!
OK after some different dealer visits they are telling me that the drive train noises are coming from the torque tube and are replacing it now so we will see if that solves the weird noise problem in my C7.

Good luck! I have a brand new 2017 Stingray Z51 and had the same issue with my engine sounding like it was going to explode. It turned into the "propeller shaft hub clamp bolt / Torque Tube being replaced in 12/04/17. At the time i only had 2621 miles on the car. On 2/10/18, with less than 4,000 miles on my car, I had to take it back into the shop for a weird noise every time i accelerated. Guess WHAT...they have to replace the SAME part....propeller shaft hub clamp bolt / Torque Tube!! Mine is on order from Detroit as i type!
