Enough to completely fill, then gently wiped down. Repeated until full coverage. Go very gently on the smoothing, particularly the last couple passes to keep the coverage. BTW: I'm not an expert, just my experience with this same shallow and wide ding. I also used the recommended DR CC method on a couple tiny, deeper spots and it was pretty effective on those. You can experiment as the Sealac will remove the paint completely until it cures.
