OnStar Activation
My vehicle was produced this week. I understand from others on this forum that you can activate the OnStar system and track the new car from Bowling Green to the dealership. I would like to to this. I called OnStar and they did not know about how to do this unless someone at Bowling Green turned the system on there. It sure would help to know when the car arrives to get things ready. Does someone here know how to do this?

I just went through this spending literally hours (plural) on the phone with onstar trying to get it activated. They kept telling me someone needs to physicaly press the blue button. I said that the car is built and is sitting at the plant, thus nobody can do it. "But sir, someone has to push the button". Over and over and over with numerous agents. I finally called my dealer and had him get in contact with onstar to get it activated. In the end something finally worked as I was able to track my Vette from Bowling Green right to my dealer using the onstar app on my sthmart fone.
