I am new to this forum thing so I am expressing what I been dealing with, at the end of the day all I did was ask for help I wasn't sure how many times things were being posted. It seems as though only white men has commented thus far. Until you experience racism you wouldnt know how it feels. I wasn't trying to cause any harm. There was one guy that subscribe and I truly thank him for it because not one guy but a few literally said they would subscribe because I was black. I have the messages to prove it.
Really? Grew up a white kid in Baltimore city. 3 white kids in my highschool. Despite what you have been taught, all races are racist.
HAHA Thanks, I came in here sending a message for (subscribers) I definitely did not think I would create a (thread) by no means hahaha
How do I actually join this site, and become apart of most conversations that go on?
If you had a grandsport with 460 horsepower, what modifications would you do? Would you change it at all? Would voiding the warranty be an issue for you?

I wasn't asking for anyone to be nice I was asking for help, did you read the title? I was told by my friend who are white to join this forum so im new to this.
Are you a Youtuber????
Also I don't need another white man telling me what I can and cannot do! Once again all I did was ask for help that was it, all you could have said was no you aren't willing to help or subscribe. I have had a few guys literally out right say they weren't subscribing because I was black. Had nothing to do with my content. I worked hard for every subscriber I currently have, I only been doing this for a month.
Starting to think you are just a troublemaker. You are clear I a racist. Any man can give you advice. The fact that his race matters...It's clear you have issues.

How did that turn out for you? I apologize if you experience any of that on your end but none of those people in your high school speaks for me you know. I am personally going off the messages I received here. Im the type of person that will have a debate with any person and then offer to go get a burger afterwards and talk about cars, sports, etc. You can ask anyone I know from childhood till now I can talk to a brick wall and make friends with anyone hahaha. So I apologize if you were experience any crazy because of your skin color in high school but I hope those people do not make you feel any differently towards other race, or me because I only see two race the human race and the race track hahahaha. Thanks for responding though

Haha I am far from a trouble maker, do me a favor go take some time and read the post I posted so far! You will see that I only responded to the messages I received which in this case some from you as well. In all seriousness (Falconhulk) you really think I came here to make trouble?????? That's by far the last thing on my mind haha but I tell you what I did though I came here and sparked a conversation. I could have did it else where but I did it here and you know what I do not regret any of it because everyone that has respond either gave me helpful information or just left a comment ill think about for a minute or so. In which your comment is your opinion I didn't lose any sleep. So once again sorry if you experience any hatred because of your skin color but if I were at your school in Baltimore you would have been my friend. At the end of the day you control your path in life, regardless of what skin color you're. Certain paths maybe different for one another but (Falconhulk) I honestly grew up with nothing like nothing. The crazy thing is I went to a white public school, and white public university. In my bed at night when I was a little kid had wish I was white, I truly did based off what I saw as a kid. My goal was to become a NBA player just ti get my mom out of the ghetto but that path didnt lead me to the NBA but lead me to getting an education and while getting that education I have met so many people along the way regardless of what race they're. You would not believe this but most of my friends are white but we call each other (Brothers) their children see me as an uncle and if I had the opportunity to meet you one day I was treat you the same way as my brother.

Looks like you have almost 500 subscribers so not to bad. 85% of any video in my opinion should be all about the car. For example, I like YouTube videos that teach me something that I don’t already know. Do things like how to do a mod, product review, how to detail, how to install things etc.
You mentioned some YouTubers that you want to be like, take what they are doing in terms of content and compare to what you are doing and figure out how to be you but innovate and learn from those who are successful. Products should sell themselves in time if they are good.
Good Luck!
Lastly, race in America has been and will always be an issue. However, you need to focus on your channel, press pass those who have biases as people are who they are and in age will not change. Surround yourself around positive people and those accept you for who you are from the inside and be happy.
Hey kgrant thanks for your reply and I truly appreciate your compliment, yea I gain those followers in a month time frame so I figuring some of this stuff out along the way! Cars is my passion so I am going to keep at it haha. But hey I may stop in from time to time to ask for you advice but some people really gave me some helpful advice including you. Do you currently own a corvette right now? I went to the dealership the other day to consider getting some mods done but they said some of my warranty could be lost.

Here is a question I have for everyone in this forum because now just thinking about it this is a good place to ask!!! I am not sure who will received this message or if its posted to many time but please note I am new to this.

Voiding the warranty would be an issue for me.
I would not change it at the start. After warranty was up, maybe a few things, but nothing drastic. Maybe cosmetic mods. I do not feel many improvements could be made otherwise. But then I am biased. When my Stingray gets delivered, it will be a dream come true for me and you cannot improve upon a dream.

I wouldn't do anything to it.
Instead, I would go sign up at Skip Barber or some place similar and make sure my level of skill was properly suited to the car. Once I felt like my skill was in line with the cars potential, then I would practice. Once I burnt though a few sets of tires (and was beating everyone else with 460 hp), then would I start to try and up the power.
^^^
learn the car & your limits, when the warranty is up or you figure you dont care start modding
You may not realize this but from skimming the thread it almost comes off like help me because Im black....but you drive a nice vette. May not be your intention just sayin
Now go drive the hell out of that thing and dont give 2 chits what anyone else thinks.
Not sure if you have the PDR option but if you do use it on the track when making a video, people like to see what gear you are in and what speed you shift at-makes for a more interesting video.

Thanks for your message CptCvMan, when does it get delivered what plans do you have for your Stingray? Do you think you will go to the track?

Haha make sense, yea I considered adding a super charger to it but Chevy said that may void some of my warranties so I am hesitant to do so! As of now its definitely fun. I am not sure if you guys know this and Ill mention it to my followers and subscribers in a upcoming video. If you buy a new, Corvette no matter what the trim level is they over you a chance to fly out to vegas for a Ron Fellow driving course. I plan to make that trip in March or April hoping to learn somethings and make a great video.
Don’t ask for views or subscriptions, let the quality of your content carry your channel.
Do both. Make the channel the absolute best it can be, pimp and market it everywhere. But when you actually get someone there, it better be good enough content to keep them. So content first, for sure, then market it.
And don't give a rat's *** what a cranky loser on CF will tell you. Tell them to go back to Off Topic where they belong.
As for the racist bit on this thread, give me a break. I'm not from the projects, that's where they sent the money. I'm from where they didn't. (Though I have seen some disturbing stuff on here, not in a long time thankfully)

Haha thanks for your message! I see what you mean I was asking for help in by wanting new subscribers and getting advice. I only brought of the black thing because I wanted to talk about an experience I had you know. I personally did not know what demographic male or female was in this group. I didnt even know my message reached anyone. I will say I came to the right place haha. What I learned is not everyone will like my content, not everyone will agree, but everyone here loves cars hahhahahah
I plan to drive the heck out of it for sure, and truly appreciate your comment

Good luck with your channel and your car.
Hey Corgidog, HECK YEA I DEFINITELY HAVE IT!! I am still learning the car BUT i did use it on my last track event granted I didnt use the shift paddles I left it in drive the entire time until I can get use to being on the track. I plan to make that video really soon.

Thanks Dave396LT1 is that your red corvette? Have you did any modifications to your car?
I certainly agree with you, and I plan to keep pushing my channel and content! I have been meeting other youtubers and hopefully meet some big youtubers in a few weeks who all have vettes.

Yes do that for sure.
Between now and then, remember that more power just means you will be letting off the gas sooner. It is also worth mentioning that in a field of equal drivers in equal hp cars, the guy with the best tires will always win. Meaning, modifications wont really help much if you don't keep up with the rest of the maintenance items.

Hey that make sense, as of now I currently have the sport cup 2's on my car which is only summer tires. I am not sure if I should invest in all season tires. What you think?
